Don't Lose Your Game Over The Winter!

The temperatures may be frigid, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your game! In addition to an abundance of gyms and fitness boutiques we have nearby, we also have access to indoor pickleball courts, driving ranges, tennis courts, and pools here in Atlantic County. Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you can’t practice your swing or swim those laps! Below are just a few of our favorite spots to visit in the winter to practice over the winter.  

1. Performance Pickleball 

Located in Ventnor City, Performance Pickleball is one of our most visited spots during winter. These climate-controlled courts have everything you need including USDA-certified coaches, cutting-edge technology, and incredible isolation from the outside world. Don’t have a winter partner? No worries! Performance Pickleball offers a state-of-the-art ball machine (The Lobster III) which ranges from 10-60 MPH speeds and 2-12 second intervals and feeds both sides of the court. Admission ranges from $40 - $125, so there’s something for everyone no matter your budget. 

1. Greate Bay Racquet & Fitness 

Situated in Somers Point, Greate Bay Racquet & Fitness has everything you need to get your sweat on this winter. Alongside a staff of personal trainers, state-of-the-art equipment, and a dynamic group exercise schedule, this studio also hosts two indoor tennis courts, singles and doubles squash courts, and six indoor pickleball courts. With annual, monthly, summer, and daily memberships available, there is a membership for everyone! 

1. Milton & Betty Katz JCC

Situated in the heart of Margate, the Milton & Betty Katz JCC has indoor recreation the whole family can enjoy! The indoor pool is open for children’s lessons, open swimming, water aerobics, and more. Take a reformer pilates class to work on your core strength, or join one of the many other group fitness classes available. Strictly looking to work on your game? The JCC offers beginner and advanced pickleball clinics, and racquetball courts available for reservations. Membership packages range from single adults to family packages and everything in between. 

1. Club 313 Golf

Located in Ventnor City, Club 313 is the hot spot for golfers who are looking to improve their swing. Complete with two state-of-the-art 15-foot TruGolf Golf Simulators,  Club 313 will have you playing like a professional in no time flat. These simulators have over 100 virtual courses to choose from and the ability to track your swing data and show areas of improvement. The captivating country club atmosphere boasts beautiful putting green, flat-screen TVs, a private member’s locker room, and is BYOB!
