When most people think of Margate, they picture sun-soaked beaches and bustling boardwalks during the summer months. While Margate certainly thrives in the summer, this charming coastal town and its surrounding beaches come alive in a different way when the leaves start to change and the crowds thin out. Margate and its neighboring beaches offer a delightful array of events, year-round businesses, and fall festivals that make autumn an excellent time to visit.
Many restaurants, boutiques, and shops remain open throughout the fall, offering a variety of options to explore. Whether you're in the mood for a cozy meal at a waterfront restaurant, searching for unique gifts, or simply want to experience the local culture, Margate has something to offer.
